AFL Wagering Trends
I have decided to take a look at betting trends from this year’s Arena Football campaign and list a few key trends for the upcoming weekend’s games.
Wagering on Favorites has been a profitable venture this season overall, posting 74-60 ATS 55.32% record, with away favorites being especially lucrative evidenced by a 33-22 ATS 60% conversion rate.
Obviously those of us who were looking for a home underdog advantage were greatly disappointed.
There was no edge wagering on ’totals’ with 67 games going ’over’ and 66 ’under’, to this point in the season.
Georgia at Orlando
Georgia is 9-1 ATS against conference opposition this season.
Orlando is 1-8 ATS after a blow out win , by 17 or more points.
These teams have gone under in six of their last seven meetings in Orlando.
Columbus at Philadelphia
Soul are 4-13 ATS L/17 against division foes.
Soul have eclipsed the total in five straight games.
Destroyers offense has averaged just 43.2 PPG on the road this season.
Tampa Bay at Grand Rapids
Storm are 21-8 ATS L/29 June games.
Grand Rapids has gone over in nine of their L/11 against lower tier defenses that allow 52+ PPG.
Nashville @ Kansas City
Nashville is 13-3 ATS L/16 as a road underdog .
Nashville has gone under in 14 of their L/19 vs division foes.
KC is 5-1 ATS/SU in its last six overall.
New York @ Dallas
Dallas is 10-2 ATS L/12 against poor defense that allow an average of 300+ YPG on the season.
Dragons have gone over in 11 of their L/14 road games.
NY has covered three of their their last four visits to Dallas.
Arizona @ San Jose
San Jose has won their last eight games by an average of 18.25 PPG.
The Rattlers have gone under in six of their last seven overall.
Las Vegas @ Los Angeles
L.A. is 5-15 ATS L/20 off a division win.
L.V. is just 10-19 ATS L/29 overall losing the games SU by an average of 12.2 PPG.
L.V. has gone under in nine of 12 games this season with a total of 100 or more.
Austin @ New Orleans
NO is 6-15 L/21 against conference opposition.
Austin is 7-18 ATS L/25 Sunday games.
Austin is 11-3 L/14 OVER in road games with a total of 100 or more.
Chicago @ Colorado
Chicago has gone under in five straight games.
Colorado head coach Dailey is 15-5 L/20 against a winning team.
